Solar Panels Completely Charge Electric Car

Solar panels are not just being used to power homes and businesses anymore. A new device now allows solar panels to completely charge an electric car in six hours.

Solar panels located on top of a small roofing structure—also able to provide shade for the car—can fully recharge an electric car in six hours of continuous sun exposure.

Solar energy eliminates the need for owners to plug in their electric cars into expensive carbon-generating grids. It also eliminates the concern of offsetting energy production away from gasoline to another form of carbon to produce power.
